MiBox Home Button doesn't Work and Random turn on

Hi, sorry to write another post about MiBox bugs, but until now I haven't read about the same problems I have after Oreo updates. After having updated the firmware via USB and applied the secondo Oreo update:

  1. Mibox occasionally turn on, even in the middle of the night, without any reason.
  2. The Home Button doesn't work anymore both in the remote and in the Mi Remote App from another Android device, restarting doesn't make any difference, resetting makes it work again for a while. Have someone noticed the same bugs?

The home button issue and or remote sleeping is a fairly common one for many post oreo.. A reset didnt fix that for me.

I havent had mine turn on that I know of but CEC is messed up for a lot of folks and it wouldnt be a large leap to find it woke from CEC or woke the TV from sleep.

Do you have sideloaded apps? Have you played with developer options? Have you disabled any apps? Have you played with Accessibility settings (whole setting is a bug right now).

I would factory refresh and redownload/reinstall the update. Do the OTA update if you can.

That is not normal and something is screwing up your OS, or something is wrong with your OS update.
