Remote's Microphone doesn't listen anything and if it listens it's something else. I tried using the Android TV app it works super fine. Is there a problem with my remote or just an Oreo issue? Anyone experiencing the same?

Microphone before you had to hold the button down when you talked.
Now you hit the button once and then talk. Took me awhile to get used to it because I was holding it down and nothing was happening.
I've downloaded a voice recorder app, as it turns out my remote/mic isn't recording clearly. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the remote or with oreo update
After Android 8.0.0 also my mic seems not hear my voice when I try to say a vocal command..I ve read there could be a beta channel for the dev updates, anyone know how to access to this channel, or any other suggestion than a factory reset that seems not to solve, I ve for example switch on/off the mic authorization inside Settings/App/Google Play services but without good news...
Also haveing issues after update.. will try the factory default.. but I have my doubts.
Same story here. In addition I preferred previous way of search, when I was able to search within app, eg. YouTube. Now it's using one screen to search in multiple apps.
I performed a full factory reset after the Oreo updates and it's working well. I highly recommend a factory reset after the Oreo update. Just my 2 cents.
