Wifi performance update.

Glad, as many had issues and is more important, but really wanted the Accessibility bug to be fixed:(

Edit: It appears to be internal beta now, and probably roll out soon (Google generally takes a month to approve, but maybe they will rush it since it is only important bug fixes -Wifi and Google Assist- and is a small file).

Also Xiaomi is said to be planning a possible downgrade option . Google doesn't allow it, so it will be a do it yourself, at your own risk and with no MM support. Xiaomi will be, if possible, just making it possible to do.

3.5h of use and still no hiccups. seems fixed. will update again in a few hours.

edit: 10 hours-ish. still no problems. noice. looking forward to the rest of you getting it!

Excellent thanks. Don't have any Wi-Fi issues with Oreo but will of course still update. It's odd that just the other day that guy posted from the Xiaomi forums saying no updates were coming and then this happens.

Does this fix the WIFI speed issue?

I set up a Roku last night, but the interface on them is horrendous. A third of the home screen has a gigantic annoying ad that can't be turned off. How can people stand that shit?? Maybe I just need to get a Shield. :/

Is this only available to beta testers? Can somebody please tell me if the white dot/pixel on the upper left corner of the screen has been fixed on this build?

Any update on external ntfs hdd? I bought to play mkvs from external hdd and cannot use since first power on as first thing was to upgrade to oreo without chance to cancel.

Is there away to make an update.zip for this? How can I join beta testing?

Even before the buggy oreo update I found the wifi strength on the mibox pretty meh. Just get a USB ethernet dongle.

If ethernet isn't available where the mibox is, then get a pair of ethernet over powerline adapters to bridge the gap.

Though, the signal is already bad since it doesn't have internal antenna.
