Surprisingly little discussion about an issue which, in my opinion, is an absolute showstopper for this device. I mean, right now you have to
manually
switch between 24p (for movies), 30p (for tv) and 60p for menu navigating. Give me a break Xiaomi.

No you don't. The apps can switch refresh rate as needed. If it's not happening, then it's the fault of a specific app.
