Nope no issues at all. I did do a factory reset after updating though. Have a 4K tv too, no special cable needed just have a few year old HDMI cable, works fine in both 1080p and 4K modes.
I you are using a 4K resolution with any of the 444,10bit or 422,10bit Android settings display selections make sure you have a 18Gbps High Speed or Premium certified cable.
