Someone earlier this week made a post claiming they were just able to add a Prime video channel but I am not able to even after my Prime updated yesterday?

Yeah it did it to me to. Vudu as well. despite me having cleared out all the custom channel's and switched every app to off. So rude, no respect for my minimalism.
Mine did it on its own I just deleted it

It got added for me without doing anything.
i didnt get a channel after update. However after a factory reset it appeared automatically .
I even had a update to the app yesterday on one of my Shields but still no home channel.

Just rechecked no home channel but I now have the X Ray feature.
I have it on my Shield.
I own 3 shields. 2x 2017/16GB and 1x 2015/16GB. The two 2017 Shields have the Prime channel, but the 2015 version doesn't. Staged rollout?
I was disappointed when I got my Shield a couple months back and it didn’t have one. Thought it was odd since Nvidia worked with Amazon to get an official app. Then happily one showed up a week or so ago.
I don’t have it😕 everything is up to date for me too. Wonder why.
They should offer a free movie rental if they are just going to impose like that
I'm curious about this. I have two Shields and one has a prime channel but the other doesn't. One also has play music active, the other has it blacked out. Both are up to date so I can't figure out what gives.
