There is also a link available on xda-developers.com . First post in the thread has been updated with download links for v4.5.17, v4.7.9 and v4.8.69 from Google Play.
I got mine through Aptoid. Try that one. There are a few reputable Android stores that may have it.

Prime Video is a terrible app that is slow, clunky, and has almost nothing worth watching. Add to the fact that they won't support Mi Box and it's just garbage.
I ended up cancelling Amazon Prime, you get free shipping on orders over $50 with Amazon no matter what so just pool my orders together.
Sideloading Prime Video on my mibox made it turning on from sleep randomly at least once a day.

Link to 4.8.69 download is at the bottom of the page. Tested working on my Mi Box. Remember to scan for virus first as sideloading APK from internet always has some level of risk.
Update : You should also use "jarsigner" from JDK to verify this APK was signed with a release certificate owned by Amazon Services LLC, not with an Android SDK debug key (basically means no tampering by another party) ( https://stackoverflow.com/questions/7104624/how-do-i-verify-that-an-android-apk-is-signed-with-a-release-certificate ).
