I'm using the Kodi from the Google Play store both boxes on oreo. Smb directory shairing used to work fine on my window 10 pc but just can't get it working now and though there must be others with this issue... linux smb does work but looking for a win10 solution..TIA
Which app can not connect smb server? Only kodi 17. 6 can not connect smb v2/v3 servers, most of apps can connect smb v2 servers. I don't recommend using smb v1, it has serious security vulnerabilities. Install kodi 18 alpha, it works fine except quasar addon(p2p torrent stream addon)
after installing kodi leia alpha 3 i can now finally see my shares!
You need to enable SMBv1
