Can you delete all the stored data and cache for the app? Might help.
What problems are you having, OP? I have my MiBox attached to a non-standard monitor that doesn't support HDCP, and since Netflix requires it, it will error out every time I try to play anything.
Without root you can't uninstall it.
You can disable it which will revert back to the factory version by removing all updates.
I'm having an issue where I get a generic error about Netflix being unable to play a show after playing it for 10-30 seconds. Its hooked into a 2015 Sony TV, so it should be HDCP compatible. Anyone have a fix for that?

Go into Settings -> Apps -> Netflix -> Uninstall Updates. While you're in there click Clear Storage & Clear Cache on this app specifically. You can't fully uninstall because it's OEM loaded but you can uninstall updates and clear the caches to make it pretty close to a fresh install. After that you should be able to update it through the Play Store.
