The Mibox shows up as a device on my phone's Google Assistant, but I'd like to know what kind of commands I can give my phone to control the Mibox (and can you control your phone from your Mibox?).

To your phone or Google Home Speaker, CEC commands "Hey google turn mibox off" always works for me, "Hey Google Turn Mibox On" works about 75% of the time if not more. Mibox can get weird in sleep mode.
"Hey google play Judge Judy on YouTube on Mibox" works very well.
Play X on Y on Mibox is somewhat universal. I'm pretty sure Netflix has complete voice control, (play Orange is the new black on netflix on mibox) but I'm a hulu man and you can't do anything more than launch the app. Spotify with a valid subscription, Google Play Music, and a few others let you have full voice search.
"Hey google open X on mibox" also works for every installed app.
As far as I'm aware, there is no way to control your phone from a mibox or speaker outside of setting up automated response triggers and possibly using IFTTT or equivalent.
