I have the X4-55 and it's an awesome TV but unfortunately LeEco is no longer with us. Well, in the US anyway.
I've read some weird updates people are doing on XDA.
How long will the OS on this TV remain functional? And, should I just keep using until it becomes outdated (software) then add a Minute Box?
Hey OP, were you able to find anything? Something I have noticed is that there haven't been any updates to the Google App (I think 3.0 version was supposed to bring Google Assistant) Currently the US version runs on Android 6 and although, Google app should be supported - it doesn't update.
I was thinking of side-loading all the latest Google apps from apkmirror to see if it works (Android TV core, Google App, Google Play Store, Google Play Services, GBoard, and so on). It doesn't make any sense.
