I was having this issue on my Shield and got hold of Hulu tech support.
Unplugging the shield and the router for a minute and restarting took care of the matter.

Damn its like Hulu really doesnt want android tv owners business, I think Ill be cancelling this month an activating youtube red until they can at least get Profiles ffs
