In Android 7 you could just hold "Home" button and a simple window appeared with all your opened apps where you could switch between them or close ones you don't need. I've been using Android 8 for a few days now and still haven't found anything of this sort.
double tapping home still works for me.
Ya I hate that. You can go into app info and force close but it takes so much longer than before.
I like Sideload Launcher cuz then I don’t have to search down apps in that list that it doesn’t let you add to the roll.
I was just going to post this question. I love this feature.
For the MiBox if you have a keyboard attached then you can hold down Alt and press Tab to bring up the Recent Applications Menu. While still holding down Alt use the Backspace key to close the applications.
If you don't have a wireless keyboard for your MiBox I'd recommend either the K380 or K400 Plus from Logitech.
