When I try to access my external flashdrive in Total Commander, it gives me that com.android.documentsui is missing.
I have already updated to the latest version and I tried different flashdrives that are all formatted in fat32 and it is still not working.
Anyone have a solution for this before I resort to resetting the device?
Does it show the flashdrive in settings, storage?
You cannot open it unless you’re rooted now. I heard its a new security feature that the Oreo update have. I’ve had this issue but since I only put movies on my flash drives, you can access videos on your flash drive through VLC. Maybe thats what you are after. If you’re just transferring files you, you can use x-plore, assuming its not gigabyte-size files
Works seamlessly on Oreo. Can you try a different file management app? Also allow App installation from unknown sources.
Try sideloading MiXplorer from XDA labs.
