I have been running into the daily ritual of coming home, turning on the TV to find out the remote doesn't respond.
Normally even trying to the android remote app is of no use, requiring me to get up and physically removing power for a few seconds.
Has anyone else seen this?
same here , with the latest update. It wakes up after several attempts or doesn't wake up at all leaving unplugging it the only option.
Same here. I'm not using the Mi Box even more. Every update made it worse. Loads of problems also with Wi-Fi. Very disappointed.
I finally jumped ship after last update. Remote borked, black screen of death, no wake. Purchased a Roku, it's a dream compared to the Mi Box.
Same here and Android TV Remote app on my phone is not connecting to Mi Box though they are on same wifi. It really pisses me off.
Have you tried pressing the <- and O buttons to trigger the bluetooth connect signal.
What build are you using.

It has happened to me but I realized that if I point the remote straight to the box it turns on
