Pi-hole + Android TV (Shield)

The issue being faced

Beyond the stock apps, I have sling, kodi(gaia), Amazon, hulu, netflix. I am shocked by how many blocked ad-based sources are blocked. If you look at the picture, that is 13 in under a minute.

Anyone else running into this same issue? More so curious if I have something rogue running in the background or this is common.

Pi-hole doesn't block YouTube ads 100% anymore. I switched to SmartYouTubeTV. It is a little glitchy, but no ads. I sideloaded it via SolidExplorer and Google Drive.

My shield is not like that at all.

Did you make sure to opt out of specialised ads?

Do you have a dish TV app? What kind of add ons in kodi?

Learn to both use & update the filters within Blokada correctly & this is a non-issue.

Plenty of info in the G+ Community & vids on YT, not that it's not user-friendly & a common sense setup.
