You have onboard tuner, connect a usb hard disk, setup live channels for dvr
I record every show I want on my sony AndroidTV, using IPTVextreme with IPTV channels
I would be surprised if there is any way to record from onboard tuner. Check with Sony tech support.
You should look into Tablo or other network tuner device.
