GPU is Mali 450 and has quad core a53 Amlogic chip. Might run like crap then.
Main reason is, in India previous mi tv sold without Google Android TV and custom Android running Android 6.0. Many people complained of not having prime video and Netflix support officially :) but they're coming very soon.
Now with this movie, PatchWall + Google services = Best smart TV ever made for India. Many brands are still selling non smart TV for more than the cost of the xiaomi 32 inch tv with less hdmi port and USB port. This movie will make xiaomi king of smart TV's in India.
Have you seen Sensara Tech sensy, here most TV channels are browsed through the set top box directly from HDMI and not from tuner from TV. Here they have a App on TV and a IR cable connected to USB port of TV and facing to set top box,.. So now, if you ask any channel or program name to Google assistant, results from set top box (local) and patchwall (other all streaming apps tied up with patchwall) is displayed. I can say this is very much ease of access.
Whats the best here is patchwall with voice remote made recommendations still faster and shows in single place.
And a gesture from xiaomi is, it promised to give amazon prime video very soon for all its TV's. And Netflix also works out of the box with some update after certification and all.
Now, best part is, xiaomi promised to give Android TV services and all via a update in early 2019 for all old TV's sold without any Google support. This is a very good gesture from the company. I never seen any TV with custom Android getting official android TV as a update. So, you can think how much Google gives priority to Xiaomi, isn't it a special privilege?
If the Android TV Oreo on this device is stable, it has similar specs to mi box 3, can we expect Mi Box to be fixed?
How does the patchwall thing works? Is it just like an app you launch from Android TV or what?
No Google Cast and No Netflix? Whaaat. Why would anyone buy it then? If you want Netflix and or Google Cast NEVER buy a device that doesn't carry it at launch. If they haven't reached a deal with Netflix prior to release they won't do it.

yeah but no Netflix and amazon prime video apk(can't even side load), that's 90% of my tv use, what will i do with a tv without these 2 apps ?
