Does anybody have Mi Box 4?

What version of Android TV does it actually have? Can it be updated to the latest - Pie - 9.0? Where did you buy it?

I have both versions of Xiaomi Mibox 4 that include MDZ-20-AA (4C) and MDZ-21-AA (4).

These models have been on sale in China since early spring of this year.

These devices are specific to Xiaomi's home market in China and run a custom variant of AOSP Android 6 totally unrelated to official AndroidTV.

The underlying chipsets are incapable of supporting DRM and codes required by official AndroidTV of any level.

There's no global version so no Android TV yet afaik.
