After letting my MiBox do the most recent update I’m totally and completely stuck.
My original remote died a long while back and I’ve been using my TVs remote to control the box (through Simplink, aka CEC) or through the iOS Android TV app, and it’s been working fine.
After the box rebooted it is no longer recognized as a CEC capable device and I can’t get out of the screensaver to use the android tv app. I literally can’t use it.
Any suggestions?
Factory reset.
It seems soooo many people are having problems with their update. This is why I haven't updated mine from 6.0.
I believe there have been two oreo updates. The second one has fixed any issues I had.
Same here, I've had two just die on me.
Mine is having wifi problems...
Kodi is always stuttering, even though the mibox is literally 1 meter away from router, 2.4ghz though.
IPTV server on cable directly to router, file server too, both stream just fine every type of file to any tablet, phone or pc over wifi, but not to the mibox after the last update.
I literally had to put a raspberry pi (OSMC kodi flavor) over wifi, 1meter and then 2 meters from router, just to test if it was ther routers wifi the issue, had 0 issue with it.
I'll buy the ethernet adapter and give it a last chance, if it doesnt work i'll just give it to my parents (they'll only use netflix) and buy a fire tv unfortunatly, I really like this device...
Do you have an old usb mouse around? Or one with a usb dongle. Can try that, or possibly cetusplay app. At least to try changing the setting
