Since the latest (July) update, my Mi Box suffers from general bugs like lags, freezes, restarts or drops random errors.
I have tor restart it every 3-4 days and it's really annoying, cause even these restarts taking too much time (long long minutes).
Any ideas what could I do to make it better? I only use it on 1080/60kHz.
A factory reset should fix your issues.
Any ideas ? The primary idea is to avoid ALL Xiaomi Hardware period now and into the future.
Users have bought a device with no English support forum, released by a company who could care less about Firmware quality or testing.
Use 2179 Firmware as suggested or buy a NVIDIA Shield.
Personally I'm not much of a fan of Android TV these days, the competing Fruit company has a much more stable, polished Eco system and hardware setup that "just works"
just curious..Does it matter on the model type one have ? MDZ-16-AB ? Has anything turn out to be better now for you since last post? thx
Make sure you update to the latest Oreo, then do a factory reset. Starting from scratch might fix it. That's what I did and mine is working awesome with the latest update, nearly flawless.
