For some reason, the twitch channels that have language restriction are basically telling me my keyboard or system is not in English. I have made sure all my related keyboards and system language is English but I'm still having the issue.

Don't have a solution for you unfortunately but I suggest you try the recently released unofficial Twitch client for Android TV - S0undTV.

Amazon doesn't think the Android TV client is worth supporting so I wouldn't be hopeful of them fixing your issue any time soon.
