How to setup 3D properly on Sony TV?

I just bought a Sony XBR75Z9D 75 tv and am trying to use the 3D mode, but it looks all out of wack. I've tried netflix and playing a 3D compatible game (black ops 2) on my xbox one, but to no luck. That's pretty much how it looks without the 3d glasses

This is showing the left and right hand sides of the screen split in half and overlayed on top of each other. The TV is doing the 3D effect but the source isn't putting it out in SBS.
