I am trying to understand why I get ABC, Fox, CBS, and NBC HD and Telemundo HD with InstaTV (hardware decoding B) but I only get ABC, NBC, CBS HD, Fox SD on the other apps.
It's at the point I can't use live channels though I prefer the interface.

Check the local webpage of your tuner. It should tell you all the channels you should be getting. If you use the hdhomerun Homerun App you should get every channel the tuner showed. You could always use the hdhomerun channel source in Live Channels at that point and you should get them all.
It doesn't explain why channels are missing with the live channels tuner because it pulls them the same way instaTV pulls them.
I wish HDHomerun would just give us a normal guide in their app so we can just use their own app.
