Seen similar posts here however I cannot seem to get the issue fixed.
It randomly rebooted other day and got stuck on mi logo. Tried to do factory reset but still the same. I looked up some posts here and online got the firmware and tried to install that. Now still doing the same.
Any help will be appreciated as well if anyone had similar issue can you please send me or link me to the proper image.

Welcome to the club, I tried reflashing mine last night to no avail... 2 days without my mi box now.
I tried flashing 2179, it flashed successfully but still hangs on boot. Either they pushed an update, or my flash storage is shot.
It's been hanging a ton lately while sleeping as well.
I guess I need to go purchase another one...
So i was able to fix the issue. Download the file http://www.mediafire.com/file/fhh4zjspge6eh22/once-8.0-2167.7z/file . Use the recovery to boot and it works!
I will give this a go as my MIL experienced the same issue on hers. If not, the Mi Box has a 12 month warranty and Wal-Mart still stocks them... So warranty or creative return.
Hey! One of mine TOO! But, I had build 2303 on it. I've read flashing an older build can be bad. Is there a link for the latest so I can try my luck at recovery?
EDIT: Well, never mind. Couldn't get it into recovery at all and now just the led comes on and no signal on the TV. I think it has failed hardware.
I'm just trying to figure out if this was a software push that broke things, or if it's everyones onboard storage taking a dump around the same time.
