A month or two ago, reports surfaced about many Nexus Players failing (possibly due to storage failures)
Now it looks like a slew of Mi Boxes are experiencing the same issue
Does anyone suspect that Android 8 is causing these failures now that multiple devices seem to be having a similar issue?
I have a Shield Pro & my S/O has a Mi Box, they both run great IME, regardless what I'm doing on them.
Granted, the Mi Box doesn't Gamestream, but it doesn't have to being the 'Bedroom Box'
Dude. Both of mine failed after Oreo. I thought it was because they were old. Even threw one out.
I can only say that the Mi Box runs hotter with Oreo. I don't know if Nexus had that problem.
I still think the Nexus Player issue is Asus and their cheap flash memory.
