The main thing always missing is the fast forward and rewind buttons, I never find a remote with them.

Regular touchscreen Android device = a air mouse remote with a Wireless USB receiver dongle.
Android TV devices = a remote with a Wireless USB receiver dongle.
This avoids ALL Bluetooth incompatibility and pairing / disconnection / reboot de-pairing issues which a hell of a lot of users seem to simply ignore or are unaware of when purchasing replacements remotes, and then incessantly complain about ongoing problems on various forums.
Bluetooth low energy remotes are subject to 2.4 GHz interference from a variety of Radio Freq. sources, just ask NVIDIA Shield owners.
You see virtually NO users complaining about remotes with their own USB radio receiver dongles like the popular MINIX A2 lite, and yes that remote has FFWD, Play and RWD buttons. It's well worth the money.
Use these for all of my media centers, including the Shield. Works great, especially if you use Kodi
