I have a 55" LeTV (by LeEco, a Chinese company) in my room and it's running Android. Here's the catch about my question: it doesn't have Google Play and doesn't run any Google based software because Play Services can't be installed on the device. It's basically a big Android phone. So, the problem is that I can't stream anything from my phone or computer because it doesn't have any casting software (other than the really shitty software that's preinstalled).
Is there any way I can cast to my TV or convert it somehow (yeak ik it sounds preposterous) to a normal Android TV with all the necessary software?
Easiest way would be to buy a chromecast dongle and plug it into one of the hdmi ports and call it a day.
Or for a better experience in my opinion would be to purchase a streaming box like a Nvidia Shield or mibox.
