it's perfect for IPTV apps. can't wait to get one, but I think it will be hard to get one in Canada.
Seems almost exactly the same as the first gen Xiaomi Mi Box. Quadcore, 2GB RAM, 8GB storage (really? needs to be 16GB+). Firstgen could do 4K also, but definitely struggles and lags sometimes with it (I have mine set to 1080P). I guess maybe it's a higher-end quad-core processor (first gen had a Quad-core Cortex-A53 2.0GHz, Mali 450 750MHz GPU). And slightly lower initial pricepoint.

Do we know if the Mi Box S is cheaper than the original Mi Box? The Mi Box was more expensive when it got launched, but what about now? Does anyone know what the wholesale cost is? I haven't seen this on any Chinese site yet, but I guess something will happen tomorrow

still this weak and slow quad a53 and mali 450mp3, it don't make sense it's too weak!! can't they use a better soc?! RK3399 or some mediatek soc
