It's been 76 years... I have finally awoken from my slumber. Has anyone actually figured out how to keep the MiBox from turning off yet?

Why do you turn it off? I have mine turned on at all times, even when tv is off.

I couldn't make it work on the previous version but it seems to work great in Oreo. Mine has been on for months

Mine doesn't turn off.. it just constantly loses connection to the remote and freezes every so often...

Why would you want to keep it from turning off? It's an energy savings feature.

The proper implementation of HDMI-CEC last existed in interim Oreo build 2179. This, and many other glitches crept back into OTA build 2303, which was NEVER tested, unlike build 2179 which passed peer testing with flying colors.

You can find complete template for flashing 2179 in this reddit.

Now, the only issue that remains is whether your TV properly supports the generic standard for HDMI-CEC, or if it has been "enhanced" so as to stray from a simple standard that has existed over 10 years.

Rhetorical question......How can tv makers futz up a standard that only involves 2 binary options:ON/OFF and Volume UP/DOWN?
