Does anyone know how to reset the mi box without using the remote. Mine's stuck on the loading screen but using the remote doesn't work. I had problems with the remote unpairing before the update. Any other options?

Hey, i know this is an old thread. But have you had any chance with it? I have the Mi Box 4K and mine is also stuck like yours.
Sadly, the new Oreo 2303 update is causing a lot of problems with the Mi Box. Apps on it, like youtube, will crash, and it freezes and seems like the remote doesn't work till you restart it. Finally, when the android file gets corrupt enough it will just show the black Mi screen at start up and go no further. You'll have to manually roll back the software to 2179. Here is the link and directions to do so. Also, you'll need a usb flash drive for the process, but I've had to do it to mine and it works smooth as silk again.
