I am having issues with my MiBox 3 after a forced Oreo update. Items casted or the Spectrum SportsNet app render in terrible, unwatchable resolutions with odd colors and/or vertical lines. I have messed with RGB/YU etc...to no avail. My X55 LeEco TV within built in Android TV (Marshmallow?) and my S8+ do not have issues. My TV is an LG OLED 65C7. I'm royally pissed that the forced update botched my set up and now the unit is out of the return policy time frame. Any suggestions?
I know how to flash, where can I get my hands on new builds or 2179?
EDIT: I was able to update (downgrade?) to 2179. It made no difference - heavy pixelation, poor image quality, ridiculous aliasing....something my $125 X55 LeEco TV could handle, no sweat, via it's Android TV implementation (5.0). @ Intranetcomet - I'm not using the box to play games, I'm using it to stream. There would be no difference between either device for my purposes. Only a fool would pay twice as much. However, Xiaomi appears to have gimped this device and, as such, I may be compelled to purchase a Shield.
