Hi, I just received my Mi Box3. I plugged it into the tv and turned it on. Did all the setup, saw few apps getting updated on their own. This box is still on 6.0.1 and when I check for system updates there are none. Am I missing something?

Be thankful to Xiaomi. My device is on 8.0 bugged and unsuable with no way to downgrade.
As to your question: me too, stuck on 6.0.1! I just received a warranty replacement of one of our MiBoxes and no updates available either. Rumor was the last Oreo update was pulled and I guess they aren't enabling the one before it either. Despite the hate, we have 3 MiBoxes and (other than this one) they are running Oreo without issue. For me, it works, but others are not so lucky.
Be thankful! Keep it on 6.0.1 until this Oreo mess is solved. Hopefully, they will release the 8.1 they're installing on the identical hardware MiBox S that was just released.
