I see refurbs show up on Amazon fairly frequently for around $130. You might keep an eye out there.
16 GB model without the game controller is the cheapest model. Price runs pretty close everywhere. Look for sales like others have suggested.
Craigslist. My first one I bought new, the others were purchased for $70 and $85 on Craigslist.

Price has been $180-200 for 3 years. Sadly I cannot justify as my Mi Box works well enough. If it ever hits $99 though count me in :)
Got one from best buy for around 135-140 a year ago. Why not just wait until black Friday? I bet you can score one then.
Look on Google Express. They have 25% off coupons a lot . I got mine from Frys using that for $145ish.
