Just wondering if anyone is using an IR remote with their MiBox 3?
Specifically, I'm wondering if it still works when the BT remote is acting up?
If, yes what IR remote are you using... I understand that the Harmony remotes are supposed to work...
I'm just a bit tired of unplugging my MiBox when the BT remote starts acting up, and looking for a possible solution...
Using s rii mx60 and love it. Way better than the original. Only downside is it doesn't work with the voice search (but has a keyboard on it's back)
I'm using a $10 GE/Jasco remote and it works fine.
You can also use a more sophisticated remote along with a Flirc USB IR receiver and gain much more control of certain app functions.
Yep, using a Harmony 700 right now because my MI Box remote decided to stop working this evening. The Harmony always works, it's just a little more awkward with PS Vue so we're still getting used to it.
My Harmony 650 works great.
