Mygica (Geniatech) is one of the pioneers of android tv boxes, if not the actual very first provider.

They taught Xiaomi everthing they know about (non-existant) customer support and 'timely' software updates.

Not exactly a glowing endorsement......

Anybody had a chance to test this out?

Doesn't say what Android TV version is installed

Gary-Busey-

I currently have a Mygica 1800e and so does my father, I'd be wary of their products. Granted this is my only experience with Mygica so take my review with a grain of salt.

My 1800 has given me pretty consistent issues. It often freezes on start up leaving me trying to try and get it just to the start screen several tries just to get going.

The wifi isn't great but I prefer to use wired anyway.

I actually like that it uses KitKat since it's fairly stable operating system.

The interface is a bit clunky but, it is older.

Some of the language (spelling and syntax) used with the interface is a bit odd. It doesn't really effect the overall usage it's just not properly used.

Overall the unit has held up over the years up untill krypton came out for Kodi and I didn't want to risk moving over to a newer version and mess up it up.

It still runs but the freezing issue has become more pervasive and apps with often crash or freeze while streaming live tv and can be a huge pain with sports.

Hopefully this one's a bit better!

MyGica also makes USB tuners so maybe they are supported with their own ATV devices.
