Is there a way to install the full play store on an android tv? Not a tv box, an android television

I have a hisense H9E plus which has a redacted version of google play store. It does have es file explorer so I’d imagine there must be a way to side load apps. Just not sure if there’s a tutorial or something out there. From what little searching I’ve done, everything seems to be for tv boxes and tablets but nothing specifically for the tv OS.

I would just use the website. Go to play.google.com and see if your TV shows up in the list of compatible devices.

Try using the Aptoide store.

Well I was going to say there's a fully version of Android for the Nexus Player but I have idea if yours does.
