I just got my new xiaomi mi box 3

It cames with version 6.0.1 marshmelow build 699

everything is ok but because there is no ethernet I got a ethernet adapter with 3 usb 3.0

I checked it in my pc and it works just fine

I connected it to my mi box

the usb works but the ehternent not recognized/ I have only wifi/

so I searched the web for solution and some said to upgrade to marshmelow build 1901

but I cant find it

or: to update it to oreo 8 build 2179

this is for downgrade from 2303 to 2179

what I need to do ?only the last step? to put the update 2179 zip in a usb?

is it ok to do it from version 6.0.1 directly to version 8? or I need to get first version 7 than 8?
