Anyone else having issues mapping smb share on the shield?

I can map the drives on my phone, pc, wife's pc, etc (removed and re added multiple times)

But my shield fails to discover and if I manually put the ip in still no joy.

I've used kodi, built in mounting options u ddr storage, and a random file manager that allows mounting.

The thing is... Its worked fine for 2 years. It just stopped working seemingly after the last update

Edit:server is freenas and smb share is open to anonymous users.

i had to upgrade my kodi to leia to get smb sharing to work from my win 10 machine...the older version of kodi just wouldnt work anymore.

NVIDIA, with their old v3.x Linux Kernel have been dragging their heels for well over a year getting, far more secure - SMB3 compatibility into their Firmware. It's finally under testing as I type thank god.
