Alexa Voice Remote (2nd Generation), looks like it may be a no-go for ATV

Looking like this won't be a suitable alternative remote for Android TV. According to this page you need a Fire TV to configure the volume and power controls:

Also seems to confirm it uses IR. I guess you could use a Fire TV to do the initial config, maybe. Or maybe we will luck out and the volume and power commands we be default Android commands and not IR out of the box.

I have two of the new sticks arriving tomorrow. I probably won't get to mess with them until this weekend, but I intend to see if I can get them to pair with the Shield TV after going through setup for the IR side on the Fire TV. I actually wanted a remote like this with IR - CEC is too slow in my experience.

Seems to work on Nvidia all functions but voice button does anyone know how to get that to work?

Seems like a common theme with 3rd party remotes. My Mecool one doesn't work with voice either.
