There may be better reviews available but this guy seems to cover quite few questions anyone may have. This might be my Mibox replacement.

I've also got this for about a week now, if anyone has any questions.
I've had my Jetstream box for about a week now. I bought it to replace my Mibox I have had for about a year that just bricked.
I didn't really have much issues or problems with the Mibox like others have had. The only issue I had was with Netflix and some of the videos getting an error and I had to tweak the Sound settings in Android TV settings it seems something to do with Dolby settings etc. Ends up I had the Same issues with the Jetstream Box and Netflix so this must be more a problem with Netflix and Android TV Oreo not the manufacturers.
Performance on the Jetstream Box seems a bit snappier overall but that could be more because of I'm starting clean rather than a years worth of installing/ uninstalling apps.. updates etc..
It has played everything I have thrown at it smooth 4k, various file types etc.
The big plusses are 2USB ports. Built in Ethernet port, Sd card slot. The remote is pretty neat has the dedicated Netflix and Youtube buttons, my wife likes this. I'm hoping we can find a way to reprogram these buttons to another app like Kodi or My IPTV app.
I never had Wifi issues with the Mi Box but I do have a good router not real far from where my box is. Wifi on the jetstream box has been great and without issue even with 4k Content. I haven't even tested it wired yet. Interface wise pretty much the same as the Mibox, I'm guessing it is pretty much standard Oreo 8.1. The box is a bit bigger size and seems to run cooler than my Mibox did so with the bigger box maybe it has some better heat dissipation.
I have had the Jetstream box for a week or so now and overall it's been a bit smoother then the Mi Box it's replacing. The main thing I haven't managed to figure out yet is pairing it to my Harmony. The Mi Box had a config built right in and worked with my Harmony remote without any issues.
Do you have any idea on Ematic plans to give updates, if any?
Doesn't this have the exact same hardware as the mi box? Why would it be better or worse considering it's also running the same version of Android TV?
