For anyone still wanting one of these POS's. They are dropping from the price of $49 to $30. Might not be in your area yet but its coming like I called it a few weeks ago. Next drop I think will be $17. Still an insane amount of stock in the US. You will probably be able to grab them sub $17 due to so much stock.

$17?? damn. If I lived in the US I would buy the whole stock for $17 and then put it on eBay for $30
Even at $30 each you could easily resell them on Ebay for $40 + shipping.
Mine just died but I would def pick up 2 at $17...
I'll have to keep an eye out. If they've still got Marshmallow on them, they're well worth it.

Mi Box has been on clearance for over a year and hasn't been in stock for as long says my local Walmart rep. Last week I finally saw the new Jetstream box on the shelf where the Mibox used to be. It was a good run.

Why does everyone hate these so much ? And why does it usage seem to vary so much? I've had issues, but I feel like my purchase has been worth it.
EDIT: I guess I should note that this is not my primary device. I have a r/sffpc I use in my living room for everything (shout out to r/AlienwareAlpha ). And I use the Mi Box for streaming netflix or plex in my bedroom - so not really asking for much. So I can see how if this was your primary device you would be disappointed.
