Haha, my best guess is, it has been locked, because Mark cannot stand criticism. Users banned by him were still been able to read comments there. And while he can do banning users and black out unwanted comments there, he cannot control the internet and other portals where they can cite him.
But I can understand the other side to. Xiaomi easily can get the domain if they use their lawyers. As they forced to rename fan portal, facabook and youtube channels when they opened "official" store in my country. So if he shows any weakness, Xiaomi can easily get him out of business. Remember to this when you want to start business by using other companys trademark.

When you see the trash comments here its no wonder its been locked down. Perhaps people are equally tired of users abusive commentary and behaviour?
The Mi Box forum was a good place until recently when some users decided to be idiots and toxifying the forum with their nonsense. Add that to the fact the person who actually got the movement going for fixes was MarkHUK in the first place (And he didnt have the Product) but then later suffered the same ignorance as the failed updates Xiaomi put out in the first place to ALL users. People should get their facts in check before they moan on about their bans for vulgar posting or rudeness.
Not one person is perfect or without blame, ask yourself WHAT DID YOU DO to fix this box personally? Not much I can bet!
