Google sucks at (some) UI.

Im still putting up with the old App, even though the Player itself is totally inferior. The App Navigation, startup time and UI are just miles ahead, still.

I also dont like that if I wanna fast forward or rewind a video, I always have to click the "OK" button to bring up the GUI media controls, then navigate down to highlight the marker, and then finally drag that left or right to fast forward or rewind.

It's tedious to repeat these steps everytime I miss a couple seconds in a video, or wanna skip an intro etc.

Netflix, and a lot of other apps on Android TV supports clicking left or right button on the remote to directly fast forward or rewind.

I left them feedback to suggest that they add this. I don't know if anyone else feels the same, but if you do, please leave them feedback about this as well.
