Thats even better, no tax from b/h or egg

Trying to resist as I have a mibox and a shield...would be nice to have 2 shields but mibox actually works fine for a bedroom

Awesome! I just picked this up on Wed at Best Buy for $179 with a free Echo and 1 month of Sling and went back to the store today with my receipt and they promptly refunded me the difference.

My wife is getting sick of me changing our streaming boxes. Earlier this year I got 2 Roku Ultras. They're OK but we use plex most the time and I'm not thrilled with the client. Would it be worth it for me to pick up one of these or should I just live with my plex client annoyances on roku?

If any of y’all running into an issue with Shield not waking, turn of all CEC options from settings.

I'm looking at picking up a Sony tv, would it be worth getting a shield or just use the built in Android TV? I would primarily want to play local content, such as .mkv rips.
