I picked up a Mi Box S and have never owned a Mi Box 3. Do you know of any repeatable bugs on the Mi Box 3? I would be willing to apply the same methods on the S and report back if it results in the bug or not.
So far so good with 2396. Much more stable. Still has a few Dolby issues but never the less a much better step in the right direction
still have few tiny problem with 2396 with spotify connect stopping and needing a hard reboot for the box to respond again. Also any videos (netflix or from video app(vlc, archos etc) will go dark (no image, no sound) for a second or 2 and the continue. I noticed the video would continue playing during that time, but the image and sound would just be off. All those are happening even after 2 factory reset after the update
Guys what the difference between the Mi Box S vs Mi Box 3? I just bought the Mi Box S, i hope it's the latest device.
I was having occasional wake-up issues ever since Android 8.0, however to my surprise the update last week seems to have fixed this. Haven't had the issue yet since the update.
