Is the Nvidia Shield my only option for PC game streaming?

by j4nds4

I'm getting an Nvidia Shield TV to use with our 4K HDR projector, but it's a little overkill for the 1080p LCD TV in our family room. I was wondering if there was another, more economical box that would allow me to conveniently use GameStream or Steam Streaming (controller connectivity is irrelevant since I can keep the controllers connected to the PC itself) to play games away from my desk. Are there any others out there?

The mi box works relatively well with the steam link app and an ethernet dongle. Not an android Tv, but the raspberry Pi also supports Nvidia moonlight if you're looking for a cheaper alternative.

Steamlink? They were basically on clearance for $10 at ebgames within the last year.

Steam link works on my Sony Android TV so I presume any number of Android TV devices will support it.
