by 513

This impressive number has been announced at the 2018 Android TV APAC Summit in Bangkok.

So for Pay TV Operators:

  • 8 in 2016
  • 24 in 2017
  • 50+ in 2018
  • 120+ in 2019

In the US, appart from AT&T, expect some smaller (regional) operators to launch in 2019. To name a few, Cellcom, NCTC and TDS Telecom.

Progress , I'll take it.

With such market penetration it's a wonder more developers don't flock to this platform in relation to tvOS.

Does anyone know if National Geographic has a native android tv app?

I hope they stop. Adding shitty channels just to say they have a bunch justifies them to eventually raise prices. Sound familiar? I'd rather them work on 5.1 surround sound and 4K.
