stupid Question - Are there any USB 3.0 to gigabit ethernet adapters that work with the Nvidia Shield TV?

So my 2015 Nvidia Shield TV's ethernet port no longer can connect at gigabit speeds (tested by directly plugging into my main Switch). In an effort to try and salvage it, I tried to use my USB 3.0 to Gigabit ethernet adapter i got from Amazon, but no dice.

Has anyone successfully done this? Or is that feature disabled because there's an onboard ethernet connector?

Contact support, I got mine refurbished for free and didn't have a proof of purchase since i bought it in store

I use this on my MiBox 3 and it works flawlessly, so it should work on the Shield.
