MiBox USB hub

Hi guys

I have a Mi Box, international version, and had the idea of getting a USB hub. I assume this would allow me to utilise two external hard drives at once?

However, you never know so I think it's best to ask here first.

Anyone had any experiences?

Since it has USB 2.0, be warned it seems sometimes a hub doesn't seem to have enough or for an HDD and the HDD shuts down. At least this happened to me occasionally. Using USB 3.0 HUB. I switched to thumb drives and it works just fine.

I had a non powered hub which was fine for one portable and one powered drive

But then I swapped to two portable harddrives and I needed a powered hub

i use ugreen usb hub with ethernet 100mbps one, works no problem on mibox oreo. $10
